Artak Avakyan has a wealth of experience in the video game industry. Artak began their career in 2005 as an Animation Intern at Electronic Arts. In 2006, they moved to Santa Monica Studio as a Cinematic Animator. In 2008, they returned to Electronic Arts as a Senior Animator before joining Santa Monica Studio again as Lead Cinematic Animator. In 2011, they became a Game Animation Instructor at Cal State Northridge. In 2014, they founded Lightbound Studios and created the mobile game "Star Chasers". Artak also worked as a Video Game Animation and Cinematics Consultant at Section Studios in 2014. In 2019, they joined Player First Games as Animation Director and Senior Animator and Tech Artist. In their role as Animation Director, they directed all character animation for the "MultiVersus" game and directed the creation of 2D emojis. As Senior Animator and Tech Artist, they created character animation assets, improved the animation and tech art teams' productivity, and built character rigs.
Artak Avakyan's education history includes attending Laguna College of Art and Design from 2002 to 2005 for Animation, California State University, Northridge from 2004 to 2005 for Animation, and ArtCenter College of Design from 1996 to 1998 for Saturday High.
