Daniel Moore has worked in the animation industry for over a decade. In 2008, they began their career as an Animation Instructor at iD Tech Camps, where they taught students the pipeline of video game development and oversaw and critiqued their own characters. In 2010, they worked as an Animator at Torn Banner Studios, animating characters, weapons, and props/vehicles for "Chivalry: Medieval Warfare" on the Unreal Engine. Daniel then moved on to become the Lead Animator at Rocket City Studios in 2011, animating everything that needed life from props, humanoid characters, and multiple legged/unusual monsters. In 2013, they worked as an Animator and Contract Animator at Stardock, animating characters, buildings, or props for in-game or cinematic uses, and animating from home as a contractor. In 2016, they became a Contract Animator at Strength in Numbers Game Studios, and in 2017, they worked as an Animator at Blizzard Entertainment and a Contract Animator at Sledgehammer Games. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Senior Animator at Hi-Rez Studios and America's Army/SAIC, utilizing hand-key and mo-cap data, critiquing other animators' work, and initiating efforts to set up improved animation pipelines and best workflow practices. Currently, they are a Senior Animator at Player First Games.
Daniel Moore attended AnimationMentor from 2008 to 2010, earning a Diploma in Advanced Character Animation Studies. Daniel then attended Full Sail University, where they obtained an Associate of Science and Computer Animation in Animation.
