Doug Dakan

Doug Dakan has a long history of working in various roles in the technology industry. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Senior Test Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where they were responsible for software development analysis, upgrade and maintenance of a resource ordering and status system. In 2005, they moved to Aurora Loan Services as a Senior Analyst, where they were a key member of the team designing System Test Plan, Functional Specification and Test Process Templates. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at Library Corp and Pappadeaux as a Senior Test Engineer and Bartender, respectively. During their time at Library Corp, they were responsible for integration of the QA role into the product development lifecycle, strong communication skills, ability to multi task, and providing support to all team members. Lastly, they worked at PlayerLync from 2013 to present as a QA Manager and Senior Lead QA Engineer, where they have performed testing of backend systems, designed/executed API JMeter Test, created processes for testing coverage and quality metrics, and defined standards, goals, and evaluation of work for the QA Team.

Doug Dakan attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1988 to 1990, but did not receive a degree. Doug then attended Metropolitan State University of Denver from 1990 to 1996, where they received a Bachelor of Science in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations.
