Laura Dunne

Laura Dunne serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Players Health, an insurtech dedicated to ensuring safe sports environments for athletes, since June 2025. Previously, Laura held the role of Advanced Fellow in the Leadership & Society Initiative at the University of Chicago, focusing on US election reform, and was a Fellow in the same initiative, aiding executive transitions toward impactful leadership. Laura's extensive finance background includes serving as Group Head, Corporate Finance and Treasurer at Envestnet, Inc. and as Chief Financial Officer of Encompass Insurance at Allstate Insurance. Other significant roles at Allstate include Vice President of Protection Finance and various leadership positions in corporate finance and marketing. Laura began career as Finance Manager at Sears, Roebuck and Co. Laura holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BBA from Loyola University Chicago, along with participation in specialized educational programs and fellowships.
