Nick Cartan

Nick Cartan serves as the Executive Vice President and Head of Commercial Strategy at Playfly Sports since April 2024. Prior to this role, Nick held key positions at Thrill One Sports & Entertainment from July 2020 to April 2024, including Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President of Business Development. Nick's experience in business development also includes a tenure at the World Surf League as Vice President of Business Development and significant roles at FOX Sports, where responsibilities encompassed Vice President and Director levels in Business Development. Earlier in the career, Nick worked with the West Coast Conference as Manager of Sports Services and briefly at the NCAA in Government Relations, alongside experience in basketball operations at Octagon. Academically, Nick holds a Master’s degree in Sport Industry Management from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree from Saint Mary's College of California.
