Emma Basel

Emma Basel is an Education Director and Head Teacher at Playgarden Prep, where Emma oversees a Montessori-based classroom for children aged 16 months to 3 years old. Prior to their current role, Emma worked as an Associate Teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools and as a Teacher Aide at Nassau BOCES. Emma also gained experience through an internship at Downing & Peck, P.C. Emma is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Developmental Disabilities at Teachers College, Columbia University, after completing their undergraduate degree at the University of Delaware. Emma graduated from Garden City High School with a NY State Advanced Regents Diploma.
