Reean Liao has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 2014, Reean worked as an Excel Consultant at AbleOwl before transitioning to a role as a Costing Analyst at Genius Homes. In 2015, they became a Business Analyst at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, a position they held until 2018.

In 2017, Reean worked as a Data Science Summer Intern at 2degrees NZ Ltd. The following year, they joined Westpac New Zealand Limited as an Insights Analyst - Risk Analytics, and in 2019, they moved to Westpac as a Senior Data Analyst.

From 2020 to 2021, Reean served as a Data Scientist at Scentre Group, where they assumed the role of Senior Data Scientist - Personalisation Lead. In 2021, they joined Eliiza as a Senior Data Scientist before joining PLAYGROUND XYZ in 2022, where they currently hold the position of Senior Data Scientist.

Reean Liao has a diverse education history. Starting from 2009 to 2011, they attended Sun Yat-sen University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Management degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management. In 2012, they continued their education at The University of Waikato, earning a Bachelor of Business Analysis degree with a specialization in Finance and Marketing. Moving forward, in 2017 to 2018, Reean Liao pursued higher education at Massey University, where they achieved a Master of Analytics degree with Distinction, specializing in Business/Commerce.

Furthermore, Reean Liao has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills. In 2019, they completed the courses "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals" and "Serverless Machine Learning with Tensorflow on Google Cloud Platform" from Coursera. Additionally, in 2021, they acquired the certifications "MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) Fundamentals" and "Production Machine Learning Systems," also from Coursera.
