Carlie Beatty

Human Resources Director at Playmakers

Carlie Beatty has been working in the athletic industry since 2010. Carlie began as a Team Representative for the Michigan State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), where they worked to promote communication between athletics administration and student-athletes, provide feedback and insight into athletics department issues, generate a student-athlete voice within the campus athletic department formulation of policies, build a sense of community within the athletics program involving all athletic teams, solicit student-athlete responses to proposed conference and NCAA legislation, organize community service efforts, and create a vehicle for student-athlete representation on campus-wide committees.

In 2012, Carlie Beatty began working for Playmakers Athletic Footwear and Apparel, where they served as Human Resources Director, Sales Floor Team Leader, and Certified Good Form Running Instructor. In their role as Certified Good Form Running Instructor, they provided both in-store and out-of-store coaching through the Playmakers Fitness Foundation.

Carlie Beatty obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University between 2007 and 2012, and a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Michigan State University between 2009 and 2012.
