Nicholas Fortugno has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Nicholas is currently the Director of Gaming Pathways at The City College of New York. Prior to this, they co-founded Playmatics LLC in 2009, where they served as the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer. Playmatics specializes in building engaging games and applications on various platforms and also offers consulting services. In 2005, Nicholas co-founded Come Out and Play, an organization focused on promoting outdoor games. Nicholas also worked as an Adjunct Lecturer in Games and Interactive Narrative at Parsons The New School for Design from 2002 to 2023. Additionally, they co-founded Rebel Monkey in 2007 and served as the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer. Before that, they worked as the Director of Game Design at Gamelab from 2000 to 2006.
