Matt Gilbertson

Matt Gilbertson has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Matt is currently the Director of Finance at PlayMonster since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Ellsworth Adhesives for over 13 years. At Ellsworth Adhesives, they held various positions including Director of Finance and Inside Sales from July 2019 to December 2020, Controller North America from July 2015 to July 2019, and Accounting Manager from January 2008 to July 2015. In these roles, they were responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, business review, and FP&A functions. Matt also managed sales operations and the purchasing and procurement functions. Throughout their career, Matt successfully maintained a level headcount during periods of high growth and improved performance in month-end close, business reporting, and sales tax compliance.
