Megan Mertz

Megan Mertz has a diverse work experience in the field of creative CAD design and playground design. Megan worked at PlayPower, Inc. as a Senior Creative CAD Specialist starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of CAD Designer at the same company from August 2016 until April 2022. Before joining PlayPower, Inc., Megan worked at Playworld Inc. where they held the position of Pre-Design Administrator from June 2013 to August 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Playground Designer at the same company from September 2007 to June 2013.

Megan Mertz holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wilkes University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2007. During the same period, they also studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Canterbury for a brief period in 2006. Prior to their university education, they obtained a High School Diploma from Shikellamy High School from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, Megan has obtained multiple Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) certifications from the National Parks and Recreation Association, with certifications obtained in January 2009, March 2011, and December 2015.
