Ray Chew

Ray Chew has extensive experience in software engineering and technical consulting. Ray is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Playvox. Prior to this, they worked as a Ninja Developer / Principal Engineer at Agyle Time. Ray also served as a Senior Technical DevOps Consultant at Commonwealth Bank and a Senior Technical Consultant at Centrum Systems. In addition, Ray held roles such as Senior WebSphere BPM Administrator at Land And Property Information, Experienced Websphere BPM Consultant at BT Financial Group, and Senior Lombardi Teamworks Consultant at AMP. Ray also worked as a Release Engineer and Websphere System Administrator at Clear2Pay, WebSphere System Administrator at Accenture Services, and Web and System Administrator at the University of Technology Sydney. Throughout their career, Ray has gained experience in various areas such as infrastructure maintenance, cloud administration, software development, performance testing, and system support.

Ray Chew completed their education with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, specializing in Mobile Computing, from the University of Technology Sydney. Ray attended from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in IT (software development) from TAFE NSW, attending from 2003 to 2004. Ray Chew's earlier education includes completing their HSC from Latha 1 between 1995 and 2000. Additionally, they have earned certifications as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2014 and in IBM WebSphere Lombardi V7.2 BPM Development from IBM in 2012.
