Jorge Mariscal Reina

Jorge Mariscal Reina is a skilled propulsion mechanical engineer currently employed at PLD Space since May 2022, where responsibilities include preliminary and detailed design of PFD and PID systems, valve selection, relief systems calculations, and test facility design for first stage rocket engines and tanks. Previously, Jorge served as a mechanical design engineer, focusing on the design of cryogenic, fuel, and water piping for the MIURA 1 launch ramp, as well as calculus and design of ground launch facilities for the same project. Earlier experience includes a role as a development and research engineer at Chumillas Technology and a mechanical engineer position at Valmecas S.L. Jorge holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Universitat Jaume I, earned from 2014 to 2018.
