Located in the Quad City Metropolitan area of eastern Iowa, the Pleasant Valley Community School District serves the education needs of approximately 4,200 students in five K-6 elementary schools, one 7-8 junior high, and one 9-12 high school. The district was organized in 1962 and encompasses 44 square miles of eastern Scott County including the towns of LeClaire, Panorama Park, Riverdale, the village of Pleasant Valley, and over one half of the City of Bettendorf. Within its borders is found a rich blend of urban, rural, suburban and small town living.
