Beth Harris has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Beth began their career in 1998 as a Teacher at Oak Grove Elementary District, where they taught students from diverse backgrounds and worked on research projects with Stanford University and NASA engineers. In 2001, they joined Ventura Unified School District as a Teacher and continued to teach until 2010. Beth then became the Grant Director at De Anza Academy of Technology & the Arts, overseeing grant programs until 2022. In 2013, they joined Ventura Unified School District again, serving as the Assistant Principal, Magnet School Program Coordinator, and ultimately the Elementary Principal until 2022. Currently, they work as the Director of Educational Options & Expanded Learning at Pleasant Valley School District in Camarillo.
Beth Harris earned a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Beth then went on to obtain a Teaching Credential from San Jose State University. Later, they pursued a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from California State University, Northridge.
