Jason Stokes

Jason Stokes began their professional career in 2003 as President/CEO of PLECCO. In 2004, they joined SPAWAR as a Project Engineer, where they were responsible for developing Statements of Work, Project Proposals, Plan of Action and Milestones, spending plans, project status reports, financial status reports and CMMI documentation. In 2019, they became Founder of QuirkyCoders, where they guide the team in helping local tech companies find and employ local tech talent. Jason also works with local tech companies to market and advertise their open positions and engages the local developer community via marketing, local meetups, events and by providing a platform for tech talent to show their skills. Additionally, they are Vice President of Product and Curriculum at Tech Talent South, where their responsibilities include curriculum development, contract management, vendor relations and management of instructors.

Jason Stokes began their educational journey in 1999, when they attended Trident Technical College and obtained an Associates degree in Liberal Arts. Jason then continued their studies at the College of Charleston, where they graduated in 2003 with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science. In 2004, they took a course in Personal Awareness and Self-Improvement at Dale Carnegie Training. Most recently, they obtained a Technical Recruiting certification from LinkedIn in September 2020.
