Thomas Lucas

Thomas Lucas has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Thomas is currently a Co-Founder and Head of Data Science & Analytics at Pledge since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Revolut from 2017 to 2021, where they held multiple positions. As the Head of Data Science & Data Analytics Function, they were responsible for defining the data and analytics vision and managing a team of over 100 people. Thomas also led the Finance Analytics and Performance Marketing teams, focusing on developing analytics frameworks and implementing automation. Before Revolut, Thomas worked as a Senior Associate and Associate at Partners Capital from 2014 to 2017. Thomas also gained experience as a Structuring Assistant - Intern at La Banque Postale Structured Asset Management and as a Software Engineer - Intern at Aubay France.

From 2004 to 2006, Thomas attended Lycée Atlantique in Luçon, where they obtained a Baccalauréat Scientifique with a specialization in Physics and Chemistry.

From 2006 to 2009, they attended Lycée Jean Dautet in La Rochelle, where they pursued Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Ecoles, focusing on PCSI - PSI.

In 2009, Thomas enrolled at the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble, where they completed a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Financial Engineering and Computer Science. Thomas graduated from this program in 2013.

From 2012 to 2013, they simultaneously pursued a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance at Grenoble IAE.

In addition to their formal education, Thomas also obtained certifications in Data Science Intensive Workshop from Springboard in June 2016 and in Machine Learning from Coursera in May 2015.
