Meg Burrell has a diverse work experience in the field of brand strategy, design, and teaching. meg currently serves as Brand Strategy Director at Plein Air Agency since 2023. Previously, they were an Adjunct Professor at Miami Ad School Atlanta @ Portfolio Center since 2019, teaching strategic thinking and personal branding courses. Meg also worked as Director of Brand Strategy at Morrison from 2022 to 2023, and as a Strategist at BCG BrightHouse from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, they have experience as an Art Director at 160over90, a Designer at Resource Branding, a Graphic Designer at Sideways Inc, and a Junior Designer at Red Herring Design.
Meg Burrell's education history begins in 2011 when they attended The University of Georgia. There, they pursued a degree in journalism and graphic design, with a focus on advertising. After completing their studies at The University of Georgia in 2014, Meg transferred to the Fashion Institute of Technology. At FIT, they pursued an Associate of Applied Science degree in Communication Design, specializing in communication design. Following this, Meg continued their education at FIT and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Advertising Design in 2016.
