Erik Calissendorff

Erik Calissendorff has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Erik founded Plejd AB, a leading Nordic supplier of smart lighting solutions, where they focused on user experience and smart lighting control. Erik also founded Tansaki, a company that initially provided computer and network management services to smaller companies before shifting its focus to new technology and IT/AV solutions. In their role as Chief Electronics Technical Officer on luxury super yachts such as MY Pelorus, MY Eclipse, and MY Kogo, Erik was responsible for managing audio/video, IT, and communication equipment onboard. Erik also worked as a Software Developer at TIBCO Spotfire, where they were involved in developing customer-specific solutions. Prior to that, Erik served as a Radio Officer on the super yacht Le Grand Bleu, where they upgraded communication and IT systems and provided assistance to guests and crew. Overall, Erik has a strong background in technology and a proven track record of successfully managing and implementing various projects.

Erik Calissendorff completed their Master's degree in IT & Entrepreneurship from Chalmers University of Technology from 2004 to 2007. Before that, they attended Östrabo from 1996 to 2000, studying Computer Science. Additionally, Erik has obtained several certifications such as Crestron Level 3 in June 2014, Crestron Intermediate in January 2011, MTN KuBand in May 2009, Orbit operators course in May 2009, NAUI Advanced Scuba diver in May 2003, Fire Prevention & Fighting in November 2002, First Aid in November 2002, Safety & Social Responsibilities in November 2002, Survival Techniques in November 2002, PADI Open Water Diver in August 2002, Parachute certificate in June 2002, and a Driving license in April 2000. Erik also obtained a GMDSS certificate in March 2011.
