Clare Shiell

Clare Shiell is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in public-private partnerships and major project delivery. Currently serving as Executive Director of Portfolio Delivery at Plenary Group since October 2022, Clare also holds the position of Project Director for the New Footscray Hospital. Clare has been the State President of Snowriders Australia since November 2015 and served as a Board Member for the Bendigo Health Foundation between October 2018 and October 2022. Previous roles include CEO of Exemplar Health at Capella Capital, Deputy CEO at the Department of Treasury and Finance, Victoria, and Director of Capital Projects at the Department of Health & Human Services, Victoria, where Clare managed substantial healthcare infrastructure initiatives. Clare's foundational career at the Department of Justice focused on the delivery of major projects related to courts and correctional facilities, managing over $1 billion in expansion and redevelopment efforts. Clare holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Federation University Australia and is currently participating in the ANZSOG Executive Fellows Program.
