Candice Stone

Candice Stone is an experienced professional with a diverse background in marketing and human resources. As of April 2022, Candice serves as part of the People team at Pleno Inc. Previously, Candice co-founded Root To Rise, PBC, where responsibilities included leading people and marketing efforts from August 2019 to April 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Marketing Programs Specialist at Illumina, and as a Senior Manager of Business Solutions at Edico Genome. Candice has also held senior marketing roles at Broadcom and Zyray Wireless, focusing on product marketing and corporate communications. Early career experience includes marketing management positions at NetFlorist and NetActive Internet, where Candice developed acquisition and retention strategies and launched significant online initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Wits Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand.
