Xiaoguo Ge

Xiaoguo Ge has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2002, they started their career as a Software Engineer at Tucker Davis Technologies. From 2005 to 2012, they worked at Siemens Healthcare, initially as a Software Architect, then as a Team Lead, and finally as a Project Technical Lead. Xiaoguo led the development of Siemens' C++ SW Platform for CT Scanners and was responsible for managing a team of over 50 software developers. In 2012, they joined Siemens Healthcare as a Team Lead/Architect, where they set up and led a team in building Siemens' next-generation CT Scanner software. Xiaoguo also introduced Agile, Scrum, TDD, and SOLID principles and practices within the team. In 2015, they joined Tibra Capital as an SW Engineer, focusing on low-latency, real-time trading application development. Xiaoguo utilized various technologies such as C#, TPL, Redis, and Entity Framework. In 2016, they moved to Adslot as a Solution Architect. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at National Australia Bank as a Senior Engineering Analyst, where they developed highly available web applications for Forex trading using technologies such as React.js, DDD, CQRS, and AWS Lambda. Currently, they are serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Plenti, starting in 2021.

Xiaoguo Ge has a solid academic background and has pursued education in both computer science and aerospace engineering. Xiaoguo Ge completed a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Following this, they went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Florida from 2000 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Xiaoguo Ge has also obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. In 2017, they obtained the certification for "Architecting Distributed Cloud Applications" from Microsoft. Xiaoguo also completed the "Financial Markets" certification from Coursera in the same year.
