Kamil Hakim is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Pleo since May 2022. Previously, Kamil held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Record Union, where a new engineering organization was established and the technology stack was modernized to better serve business and customer needs. Kamil's experience includes roles at Klarna as a Senior Engineering Manager, overseeing the development of Klarna's Card Issuing Platform, and at Intelliplan as a Technical Team Lead, focused on microservices and DevOps culture. Earlier career experiences include software development roles at ASSA ABLOY and Netdialog AB, along with a trainee program at HiQ. Kamil holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, complemented by a background in mentoring students and conducting market research.
