Doug Sanderson is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various technology companies. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Pleora Technologies since September 2024, Doug previously held the position of VP Engineering at Teledyne Lumenera from October 2015 to July 2024. Additional leadership roles include Director of Operations at Sidense, Advisor at The Leadership Group, and Director of Engineering at SMSC Canada, where Doug focused on the design and development of wireless audio products. Doug has also served as Vice President of Engineering at Diablo Technologies and VP Product Development at Quake Technologies, which was acquired by AMCC. As a co-founder and VP Engineering of IceFyre Semiconductor, Doug led the development of 802.11 WLAN ICs. Early career experiences include serving as Digital Team Leader at Philsar Semiconductor and as a contractor at Hitachi Micro Systems Europe. Doug holds a B.Eng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, obtained between 1985 and 1989.
