Michele Waters

Michele Waters is an experienced marketing and communications professional currently serving as a Marketing and Communications Assistant at Plessey Semiconductors Ltd since October 2022. Previously, Michele held the position of Public Engagement and Communications Manager at the MRC Centre for Medical Mycology within the University of Exeter, where responsibilities included managing the public engagement program. Additionally, Michele worked as a Science Communications Officer at Cranfield University, focusing on science outreach initiatives. Early experience includes roles as an interviewer for Information By Design and a STEM Specialist for USA Girl Scouts Overseas. Michele began a career in youth leadership as a Summer Camp Counselor for Girl Scouts River Valleys. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Public Engagement and Science Communication and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, both from the University of Hull.
