Ami Bakhai

Ami Bakhai has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. They started their career as a Technology Spring Intern at Barclays in 2018. They then worked as a Software Engineer - Technology Summer Intern at Tesco and later as a Technology Developer Summer Intern at Barclays in the same year.

In 2019, Ami served as the Project Manager for the School of Informatics Edinburgh University - System Design Project. They also took on leadership roles at The University of Edinburgh Embedded and Robotics Society, working as the Talks Coordinator from September 2017 to April 2018, and later as the Head of Marketing from March 2018 to June 2019.

Continuing their journey, Ami joined Barclays again in 2019 for a summer internship as a Technology Developer. They also worked as a System Design Project Mentor and Informatics Tutor at The University of Edinburgh from September 2018 to May 2020.

In 2020, Ami joined Tesco as an Associate Technical Product Manager, where they worked on the API team and led the central price API team. Their role involved innovating the behind-the-scenes operations of UK's most popular loyalty card. They stayed with Tesco until July 2021.

Afterward, Ami joined Flyt in July 2021 as a Technical Product Manager. They stayed with the company until August 2022.

Ami's most recent role is as a Product Manager at Plex, Inc., starting in August 2022.

Ami Bakhai completed their secondary education from 2010 to 2016 at College Saint-Hubert, where they obtained a Certificat d’Enseignement Secondaire Supérieur. Following this, from 2016 to 2020, Ami attended The University of Edinburgh, majoring in Computer Science with Management. They did not specify if they obtained a degree during this period. Additionally, Ami has obtained various certifications, including Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) from Scrum Alliance in April 2022, Grade 8.0 from IELTS Official in June 2016, Higher Grade Completion in Instrumental Orchestra & Violin, and Music School Completion from Academie voor Podiumkunsten in June 2016 and June 2013, respectively.
