Alvaro Guzmán

Alvaro Guzmán is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Alvaro recently joined Plexigrid in 2023 as a Business Development LATAM. Prior to this role, Alvaro worked at FlexiDAO from 2020 to 2023 as a Key Account Manager. During their time at Trafigura from 2016 to 2019, they held various positions, including Key Account Manager and Business Development Manager. Alvaro also gained valuable experience at Invecq Consulting SA as a Commercial Consultant and at YPF as a Trading Operator. Alvaro began their career at Trafigura as a Trading Operator and also worked at Oil Combustibles S.A. as a Pricing Analyst. Alvaro has a strong background in business development, key account management, and commercial consulting.

Alvaro Guzmán has a diverse educational background. Alvaro obtained a Master's degree in International Trade and Business from ESIC Business & Marketing School in 2020. During this time, their field of study was focused on International Business Management. Additionally, in the same year, they attended Harvard University to further their education in the field of Energy sustainability and completed the program titled "Energy Within Environmental Constraints".

Prior to their Master's degree, Alvaro Guzmán pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires. Alvaro enrolled at the university in 2009 and completed their studies in 2019.

Furthermore, in terms of certifications, Alvaro Guzmán obtained a certificate in Digital Transformation from Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in March 2020. Alvaro also acquired a certification titled "Introducción al Petróleo" from the Instituto Argentino del Petróleo y del Gas in February 2016.
