Derek Wild

Derek Wild has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Derek currently serves as a Software Development Project Manager at PLEXIS Healthcare Systems, where they oversee the release cycle of various core software products and leads a team of EDI software developers. In this role, Derek coordinates all aspects of the software development life cycle and ensures satisfaction across the organization.

Prior to this, Derek worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst at 1800flowers.com / Harry & David, supporting the implementation of the Enterprise Data Warehouse project. Derek also possesses experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Plexis Healthcare Systems, where they provided risk assessment and quality assurance expertise for the software suite.

Derek also has a substantial history with Harry & David. Derek worked as a Business Analyst/IT Project Lead, Corporate Systems & Information Analyst, and Workforce Manager/Intranet Development Supervisor. In these roles, they supervised teams, conducted performance reviews, and played integral roles in planning and execution.

Additionally, Derek has held positions at Matrixx Marketing / Microsoft Corporation and American Express. At Matrixx Marketing, they served as a Microsoft Certified Programs Operations Supervisor, while at American Express, they were an Account Manager for various German banks, handling daily transactions and exchange rate issues.

Derek Wild attended Judge Memorial Catholic High School from 1986 to 1989, where they completed their high school education. Derek then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History/German at Washington University in St. Louis, graduating in 1993. In 1994, Derek attended Westminster College for a year, studying Computer Information Systems. Derek obtained a certification in Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) from ASTQB in August 2007.
