Aurian Saleh has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2016, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Scripps Research. In 2017, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the SANFORD CONSORTIUM FOR REGENERATIVE MEDICINE and as a Research Intern at StemoniX, where they Optimized 384-well microOrgan screening plates for advancing neurodegenerative drug discovery research and gained experience with high-throughput drug screenings, neuronal electrophysiology, and confocal microscopy. In 2018, they worked as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant at UC San Diego. In 2020, they worked as a Senior Research Associate II at UC San Diego Health. In 2021, they worked as a Research Associate at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and, currently, they are a Senior Research Associate at Plexium.
Aurian Saleh completed a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UC San Diego in 2018. Following this, they obtained an M.S. in Biology with a focus on Neurobiology and Neurosciences from UC San Diego in 2020.
