Pliant Therapeutics
Prerna Kotak is an experienced scientist with a strong background in biotechnology and pharmaceutical sciences. Currently serving as an Associate Scientist I in Translational Sciences at Pliant Therapeutics since July 2016, Prerna has progressed through various roles, including Senior Research Associate and Research Associate. Previously, Prerna contributed to epigenetic therapy development while working at Constellation Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included maintaining cell lines and optimizing assays. Other notable positions include roles at Shire HGT in cell culture and process development, Antagen Pharmaceuticals in diagnostic kit development, and serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Massachusetts. Prerna began a career in pharmaceuticals as a Medical Representative at GlaxoSmithKline. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Mumbai.
