Nicole Mirea Turner

Nicole Mirea Turner, PhD, is a data scientist currently working at Plinth since June 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a graduate assistant at Northwestern University from September 2018 to December 2022, coordinating departmental colloquia and events, as well as serving as a graduate research fellow. Additional positions include data science intern at Duolingo and graduate teaching assistant at Northwestern University, where responsibilities involved supporting large undergraduate classes. Early career experience encompasses web development roles at the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability and the UCLA Center for Tropical Research. Nicole holds a PhD in Linguistics from Northwestern University and a B.S. in Cognitive Science with a minor in Linguistics from UCLA.
