Itai Ben Zion has over 20 years of work experience in the semiconductor industry. Itai is currently the VP of Engineering at Pliops, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of VLSI and HW at Pliops from October 2017 to November 2021. Before joining Pliops, Itai worked at Intel Corporation as a Design Manager for the Big Core team from July 2015 to October 2017. Itai also held various positions at AMD, including VLSI Project Design Sr. Manager from January 2013 to July 2015. At Freescale Semiconductor, they worked as a VLSI Project Design Manager, Design Team Leader, and VLSI Design, Verification, and Architecture Engineer from 2001 to 2013.
Itai Ben Zion obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued their Executive MBA from Tel Aviv University, completing their studies from 2014 to 2016.
