Andrew Feren is a Principal Software Engineer at Plixer, where responsibilities include designing and developing network management and monitoring software, as well as collaborating with customers to enhance features and resolve issues since November 2006. Feren has served as an IE Doctor for the IETF since November 2013, providing expert review of the IPFIX protocol. Previous experience includes contract engineering roles at eThinkSolution and Cetacean Networks, where Feren worked on resource management solutions and protocol improvements. Feren also held a Senior Software Engineer position at Cabletron Systems, focusing on SNMP and GUI development for network management applications. Additionally, Feren was an Adjunct Faculty member at Franklin Pierce College, teaching software engineering and C programming. Feren earned a BS in Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire from 1988 to 1993.
