Andre Fischbacher

Andre Fischbacher has a diverse work experience. Andre started their career as a Teachers Assistant at Wilfrid Laurier University in 2014 and continued in the same role in 2017. In 2015, Andre worked as a Computer Programmer & Business Development at Funding Innovation. Andre then joined Pano Cap Canada Inc. in 2016 as a Web Developer. In 2017, Andre worked as a Software Developer at BMO Financial Group, where they developed enterprise-level software applications and services.

From 2018 to the present, Andre has been working at Plooto. Andre started as a Full Stack Developer, where they designed and built innovative features and distributed serverless architectures. Andre then became a Lead Software Developer, actively participating in architecting payment processing systems and developing event sourcing systems. Since January 2022, they have been a Software Engineering Team Lead at Plooto, where they are responsible for leading the software engineering team. Andre has expertise in various technologies such as .NET Framework, Azure, C#, TypeScript, React, and more. Andre has also been involved in process improvement and stakeholder management throughout their career.

Andre Fischbacher obtained their high school diploma from Michael Power St. Joseph Secondary School between 2009 and 2013. Following that, they attended the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Technology Management degree with a focus on Business Technology Management.

In terms of additional certifications, Andre received the following: Certification of Completion in C# from SoloLearn in April 2016, Certificate of Completion in JavaScript from SoloLearn in October 2015, Certification of Completion in CSS3 from SoloLearn in October 2015, Certificate of Completion in HTML5 from SoloLearn in July 2015, Certificate of Completion in SQL from SoloLearn in June 2015, Certificate of Completion in Java from SoloLearn in May 2015. Additionally, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in June 2023.
