Christopher Roach

Christopher Roach has a diverse work experience in strategy and operations. Christopher is currently working at Plooto as the Head of Strategy and Operations. Prior to this, they worked at Auxly as the VP of Strategy and Innovation from November 2020 to April 2023, and as the Sr. Director of Science and Innovation from August 2019 to November 2020. Before joining Auxly, Christopher worked as a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from 2017 to 2019, where they specialized in large-scale transformations and helped organizations with strategic problem-solving. Christopher also has experience as a PhD Candidate at the Michael Smith Laboratories, where they specialized in genetics, biochemistry, and metabolic engineering of specialized plant metabolism from 2010 to 2017.

Christopher Roach completed their Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Genetics from The University of British Columbia between the years 2005 and 2010. Christopher then pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genome Sciences/Genomics from the same university from 2010 to 2017.
