Ciera Hamilton

Ciera Hamilton has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Ciera began their career in 2010 at the City of Brampton, where they worked as a Grant Coordinator & Customer Service Representative until 2014. After that, they joined Kognitive Marketing, where they held positions as a Human Resources Coordinator and later as a Leadership Development Manager from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they moved to Softchoice, serving as an LMS & Training Coordinator and then as an Onboarding Trainer until 2019. In 2019, Ciera joined PointClickCare as a Learning Program Manager for a brief period before transitioning to Ceridian. At Ceridian, they worked as a Senior Instructional Designer from 2019 to 2021 and then as a Senior Learning Program Manager until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Manager, Learning at Plooto, starting in July 2022.

Ciera Hamilton holds a Master's Certificate in Adult Training and Development (MCATD) from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Ciera also has a Bachelor's Degree in History and Political Science from the University of Toronto. In addition to their formal education, Ciera has obtained several certifications in instructional design and learner engagement from LinkedIn, including "Instructional Design: Adult Learners," "Instructional Design: Models of ID," "Instructional Design: Working with SMEs," "Learning How to Increase Learner Engagement," "Flipping the Classroom," "Getting Started as a LinkedIn Learning Admin," and "The Neuroscience of Learning."
