Emaan Basat

Emaan Basat is currently working as a Peer Review Operations Specialist at PLOS. Prior to this, Emaan worked as a Commission Specialist at Frontiers, providing top quality customer service to Topic Editors and Researchers. Emaan also has experience working in various roles at the University of Glasgow, including as a Student Ambassador, Widening Participation, Upskilling Marketing Assistant, and Administrative Assistant. Additionally, Emaan has worked as a Marketing Intern at The Royal Highland Education Trust, a Retail Salesperson at Miss Selfridge, and a Retail Salesperson at Hamleys of London. Emaan's volunteering experience includes working as a Student Volunteer at Barnardo's. Emaan holds a degree in English Literature/Philosophy from the University of Glasgow.
