Savannah Willits has a diverse range of work experience. Savannah currently works as the Team Lead at PLP Architecture, leading their research collaborative, PLP LABS. Savannah conducts interdisciplinary research related to people, planet, and technology with experts from around the world. Prior to this, Savannah worked as a Research Assistant at TOK Commercial, specializing in the Idaho commercial real estate market. Savannah conducted primary and secondary market research, analyzed data, and published newsletters. Savannah also worked as an Urban Research Assistant at Preservation Idaho, where they conducted research on Boise's urban renewal period and drafted blog posts and commentaries. Additionally, they have experience as a Youth Specialist Intern at the International Rescue Committee, a Fellow at the National Endowment for the Humanities, a Learning Assistant at Boise State University, a Business Analyst Intern at the Taiwan-USA Industrial Cooperation Promotion Office, an Innovation and Performance Team Intern at the City of Boise, and a Senate Intern at the United State Senate.

Savannah Willits completed their education as follows:

- From 2014 to 2016, they earned an Associate's degree in General Studies from Idaho State University.

- From 2016 to 2019, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies and Community Development, with a minor in History and Economics, from Boise State University.

- In 2021 and 2022, they pursued a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning Studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

- Savannah is planning to pursue an AFFIRMATIONS Certificate in the Built Environment from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation in 2023 and 2024.
