McKeever Ken

McKeever Ken has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. McKeever began their career as a Refractory Engineer at Armco Inc, where they developed projects to enhance refractory performance and collaborated with bricklayers to establish standard practices and training materials. McKeever then served as a Supervisor in the Mechanical Technology department and later as a Master Planner in Maintenance, coordinating long-range outage planning and earning certification in Production and Inventory Management. After that, they became a Supervisor of MRO Inventory Control, overseeing a team and managing inventory. Following this role, McKeever worked as a Purchasing Agent, handling procurement for steel and pipe-making facilities, and eventually transitioned to the position of Manager - Traffic & Logistics, managing commercial and operational matters. At AK Steel Corporation, they took on the role of Section Manager - Interplant Transportation, where they managed interplant railroad shipments, advised on transportation during an ERP system transition, and oversaw the switch from in-house transportation to a third-party logistics provider. McKeever later joined PLS Logistics Services as Manager - Modal Operations, and finally served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Butler County Community College.

McKeever Ken has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, which they obtained from 1986 to 1988. Prior to that, they attended Alfred University from 1977 to 1981 and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Ceramic Sciences and Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, McKeever obtained a US Customs Broker License from 2008 to 2015. McKeever also holds certifications as a Certified Purchasing Manager from the National Association of Purchasing Managers, obtained in 1994, and as a Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management from the American Production and Inventory Control Society, obtained in 1990.
