Dr. Xenia Isabel Gioia Schmahl

Dr. Xenia Isabel Gioia Schmahl is an experienced professional in the Insurtech sector, currently serving as the Director of Insurtech EMEA and Director in Munich at Plug and Play Tech Center. Previously, Dr. Schmahl held the position of Head of Programs for Insurtech and has contributed to the field as an Investment & Deal Flow Management Intern at German Startups Group Berlin GmbH & Co. KGaA. Additional experience includes roles as an editor and author while freelancing, and as a Research Assistant and PhD Candidate at Catholic University of Eichstaett-Ingolstadt.
