Kristi Choi

Kristi Choi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the tech and trade sectors. At Plug and Play Tech Center since June 2018, Kristi has advanced through various roles from Analyst to Principal, demonstrating a strong trajectory in innovation and venture capital. Since January 2021, Kristi has also been a member of Global Women in VC, contributing to the advancement of women in the venture capital industry. Previously, between May 2016 and December 2017, Kristi served as a Trade Commissioner with Global Affairs Canada, promoting Canada's economic interests internationally and recognized as one of “Canada’s Future Foreign Policymakers 2017.” Kristi began the career in trade policy as a Junior Trade Policy Officer in the Market Access Bureau. Academically, Kristi holds a Bachelor of Arts from The University of British Columbia and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Queen's University - School of Policy Studies.
