Cmrp Mehdi Koohi

Mehdi Koohi, CMRP has a diverse range of work experience in mechanical engineering and maintenance roles. Mehdi began their career in 2004 as a Mechanical Engineer at the National Iranian Oil Company, where they worked until 2011. Following this, they joined KOBELCO COMPRESSORS AMERICA INC. as a Field Service Engineer until 2013.

In 2013, Mehdi joined BASF and held various roles including Mechanical Maintenance Engineer from 2013 to 2016, Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer from 2016 to 2018, and Staff Mechanical Reliability Engineer from 2018 to 2022.

Currently, Mehdi is working at Plug Power as a Principal Mechanical Engineer since 2022 and has recently transitioned into the role of Technology/Mechanical Engineering Manager starting in April 2023.

Mehdi Koohi, CMRP, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an unidentified institution. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained certifications in CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) from SMRP (Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals) in May 2018, and EIT (Engineer in Training) from the BOARD FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER in April 2013. Mehdi also has a certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) from BASF, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are not provided.
