Connor Shapiro

Senior Electrical Engineer at Plug Power

Connor Shapiro has gained diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Connor began their career at CU Space Grant Consortium in 2011 as a member of THEIA Software Team. In 2012, they interned at Texas Instruments as an Applications Engineering Intern. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as an Electronics Shop Student Worker at JILA. In 2014, they joined Zayo Group as an ISP DC Power Engineer before transitioning to the role of Critical Infrastructure Engineer II in 2017. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Boulder Imaging as an Electrical Engineer. Currently, they are employed at Plug Power, starting as an Electrical Engineer in 2021, and later being promoted to Senior Electrical Engineer in 2023.

Connor Shapiro attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Connor then furthered their education at the same institution from 2017 to 2019, obtaining a Master of Engineering degree in Embedded Systems Engineering.
