Dr. Chirag started their career as a Research Consultant at Plug Power in April 2022, where they focused on conducting Life Cycle Assessments of various H2 production plants using the GREET model. Additionally, they estimated different losses during LH2 storage and line cool-down, and worked on different insulations used for LH2 tanks and transfer lines.
In March 2023, Dr. Jadav transitioned to the role of R&D Engineer at Plug Power, where they conducted research on various losses associated with Liquid Hydrogen (LH2) life cycle, including storage and transfer, as well as cryogenic insulations. Dr. Chirag also performed Life Cycle Assessments of different H2 production plants.
Prior to joining Plug Power, Dr. Jadav worked at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur from July 2019 to March 2022 as a Research Scholar, where they pursued their Ph.D. in an undisclosed area.
Dr. Chirag Jadav completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University (GTU) from the years 2012 to 2016.
