Sr. Test Engineer at Plug Power

Jason Rudgers has extensive work experience in the field of engineering, particularly in the testing and validation of fuel cell modules. Jason started their career in 2006 at Trison Business Solutions, Inc. where they served as a Lead Test Engineer in both the Large Stack Test Group and the Short Stack Performance Test Group. In these roles, they were responsible for analyzing data, compiling reports, and identifying failure modes in order to improve the performance and durability of fuel cell modules.

In 2013, Jason joined Alstom Transport as a Validation & Verification Engineer. Here, they were appointed as the lead engineer for the off-site validation and system integration testing of signaling houses for the Metro North Port Jervis Line. Jason ensured proper operation and tested vital software logic for speed code and cab signaling Tx/Rx.

From 2015 to 2019, Jason worked at AeroSafe Global, initially as a Validation Engineer and later as the Validation Lab Manager. During their time there, they managed the validation lab and played a key role in validating the company's products.

Currently, Jason is employed at Plug Power as a Test Engineer, specializing in MEA (Membrane Electrode Assembly) Development. Jason has recently been promoted to the position of Senior Test Engineer, indicating their expertise and seniority in the role.

Jason Rudgers attended Alfred State College from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. The program was accredited by ABET/TAC.
