Monica Melendez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Monica started their career as a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble in 2010, where they worked until 2015. Monica then interned as a Human Resources Intern at Nyack Hospital from March 2015 to August 2015.

Following this, Monica worked as a Receptionist at Northeastern Pain Management from July 2015 to February 2016. Monica then transitioned to Community Blood Services, where they served as an HR Admin from February 2016 to January 2017 and later as a Human Resources Generalist from January 2017 to June 2017.

Afterwards, they joined Montefiore Nyack Hospital as an Employment Specialist from June 2017 to July 2018. Monica then moved on to Glens Falls Hospital, where they worked as a Human Resources Generalist from August 2018 to June 2020.

Most recently, Monica has been employed at Plug Power, starting as a Senior HR Field Partner from June 2020 to November 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Lead HR Field Partner at the same company, starting in October 2022.
