Thomas Skoczylas

Thomas Skoczylas has extensive work experience in the hydrogen industry. Thomas currently holds the position of Senior Director - Electrolyzer Sales and Market Development at Plug Power since February 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at Nel Hydrogen from 2015 to 2023, where they served as a Regional Sales Manager, specifically managing Western North America, Latin America, and South Asia.

Before joining Nel Hydrogen, Thomas Skoczylas had a long career at Proton OnSite, starting in 1998. Thomas'sroles at Proton OnSite included Director of Applications Engineering and Territory Sales Manager, Director of Technical Service and Applications Engineering, Applications Engineer, Product Test Engineer, and Technology Development Engineer. In these positions, they provided technical sales support, managed service departments, and served both domestic and international markets.

Thomas Skoczylas attended UCONN from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. Thomas also attended the University of Connecticut, where they pursued a BS in Chemical Engineering. Additionally, Thomas has an additional certification in Oxygen Safety.
