Victor Sevilla

Victor Sevilla has a strong background in electrical engineering with experience in various industries. Victor is currently employed at Plug Power as a Principal Electrical Engineer, where they are responsible for designing and troubleshooting control panels for hydrogen storage and compression. Prior to this, Victor worked at MTI Instruments as a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, where they led the development of turbine balancing equipment and semiconductor wafer characterization tools. Victor also has experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Red Lion Controls, where they led the development of industrial HMIs and IIOT controllers. Earlier in their career, Victor worked at Sixnet as an Electrical Engineer, where they led the development of industrial Ethernet switches and remote terminal units. Victor also has experience as a Freelance Electrical Engineer at VHS Engineering and as a Systems Administrator at Grupo Jenser. Victor holds a degree in audio and video technology from Universidad de las Américas Puebla.

Victor Sevilla has a diverse education history with a focus on electrical engineering and computer networking. Victor started with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Universidad de las Américas Puebla, which they completed between 1995 and 2000.

During their undergraduate studies, Victor participated in an Electrical Engineering study abroad program at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom in 1997-1998. Victor also took French language courses at the Université Grenoble Alpes in France in 1998 and at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in Québec, Canada in 1996.

After completing their undergraduate degree, Victor pursued further education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2001-2002. Victor focused on Electromagnetic Compatibility and Computer Networking during this period.

In addition to their formal education, Victor has obtained several certifications. Victor successfully completed the "Learning FPGA Development" course from LinkedIn in May 2020, and the "How to Use LinkedIn Learning" course in August 2019. Victor also obtained certification in "Learn Industrial Automation" from LinkedIn in August 2019.
