Teija Aaltonen

Teija Aaltonen has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. Teija is currently working as a Product Manager at Plugit Finland since 2022. Previously, they worked at Fastems as a Product Manager for Services from 2019 to 2021, where they handled after sales responsibilities in the factory automation field. Teija also worked as an After Sales Manager at Fastems from 2019 to 2021. Before that, they worked at Kalmar as a Project Manager for Service Contracts in 2018. Teija gained experience as a Spare Part Engineer at Fastems from 2016 to 2018, where they were involved in sales, engineering, and business development related to factory automation. Teija worked as a Research Analyst Trainee at Elisa in 2016, contributing to the company's research collaboration with scholars in business and technology. Teija also gained experience as a Master's Thesis Worker at Konecranes in 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Service Business Development Trainee at Vacon Plc in 2014, where they were involved in tasks related to service development. Teija worked as a Research Assistant at Tampere University of Technology in 2014 and as a Service Specialist at Kesko - K-Group in 2013, where they provided customer support in invoicing and account-related matters. Teija's earliest role was as a Research Assistant at Aalto University in 2013, where they focused on service productization in knowledge-intensive business services.

Teija Aaltonen completed their education in a chronological manner. Teija started their educational journey at Härmän lukio, where they obtained their Matriculation Examination (High School) degree from 2004 to 2007. Following this, they attended the University of Tampere from 2007 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.

After their undergraduate studies, Teija enrolled at the Tampere University of Technology from 2010 to 2016, where they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering and Management. In 2014, they also participated in an exchange semester at the Technical University of Munich, focusing on Business Administration, Management, and Operations.

In terms of additional certifications, Teija acquired a certificate in "Projektityön perusteet -verkkovalmennus" from ADAPRO in December 2020.
