Lloyd Ripley-Evans has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Lloyd began their career as a Teacher at Closing the Gap, where they taught for a short period. Lloyd then worked as an Intern Teacher at St Stithians College before transitioning to the role of Academic Support in the Mathematics department. During this time, they also developed Life Orientation materials for grades 8 and 9.

Lloyd later joined IR Griffiths Primary School as a Student Psychologist, gaining experience in psychology and educational support. Lloyd then moved to Crawford College Lonehill, first as a Registered Intern Psychologist and later as an on-site Psychologist. In these roles, they provided emotional support, conducted assessments, and offered academic support to learners and staff.

After that, Lloyd established a Private Practice as a Psychologist, specializing in working with children and adolescents. Their work included learning support, vocational guidance, psycho-educational assessments, therapy, and psycho-legal work. Lloyd also conducted workshops on various topics.

Lloyd also worked as a Lecturer at SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) and St David's Marist Inanda, where they taught psychology courses.

In 2018, they joined RE[define] as a Psychologist, Coach, Consultant, Facilitator, and Author, focusing on cultivating human potential and enhancing relationships.

Most recently, Lloyd is working at Plumm, a mental health and employee well-being company. Lloyd Ripley-Evans has a diverse education history. Lloyd began their academic journey at King Edward VII School, where they earned a Senior Certificate in an unspecified field of study from 1998 to 2002. Moving forward, they attended the University of Johannesburg from 2005 to 2007 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child & Family Psychology.

Seeking further education, Lloyd pursued an Honours degree in Psychology at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 2008 to 2009. Lloyd then returned to the University of Johannesburg in 2009 and completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. Continuing their educational pursuits, they pursued a Master's degree in Educational Psychology at the University of Johannesburg from 2010 to 2012.

Additionally, Lloyd has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In October 2020, they completed the ExO Foundations certification from OpenExO. In November 2020, Lloyd obtained the Purpose Challenge Impact certification from Purpose Alliance. Moving on to 2022, they completed the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) certification through Go1 in November. In February 2023, they obtained the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification from Go1. Lastly, in March 2023, Lloyd completed two certifications: Agile Crash Course from Udemy and Business Branding, also from Udemy.
